Rodriguez Weighs In on When and How Sara Linton Should Be Introduced
Will Trent star Ramon Rodriguez is weighing in on when and how Sara Linton should be introduced in the upcoming season of the hit ABC series. The character of Sara Linton, who is both the town pediatrician and medical examiner, is a key figure in the Will Trent novels by Karin Slaughter, on which the TV show is based. Fans have been eagerly anticipating her arrival on the small screen, and Rodriguez has some thoughts on how it should happen.
"I think it's important for Sara to be introduced at the right time," Rodriguez told TVLine in an exclusive interview. "She's such a complex and important character, and I want to make sure that we do her justice. I think it would be great to see her come in at a time when Will is really struggling, and she can be there for him. She's always been his rock in the books, and I think that would be a great way to introduce her on the show."
Rodriguez also acknowledged that there are some challenges to introducing Sara Linton in the TV series. "One of the challenges is that Sara is a medical examiner, and that's not something that we've really seen on the show before," he said. "But I think it would be a great way to add a new element to the show, and it would give Will a new partner to work with. I'm excited to see how it all plays out."
