Cerundolo Reaches New Milestone at Roland Garros
Francisco Cerundolo's impressive 2022 season continued on Sunday at the Roland Garros tournament, where he broke into the Top 100 of the ATP rankings for the first time in his career.
The 23-year-old Argentine achieved this milestone after reaching the third round of the French Open, where he lost to eventual champion Rafael Nadal.
Cerundolo's breakout season has seen him rise from outside the Top 200 to within reach of the elite group of players. He has achieved a new career-high ranking 11 times in 2022, including reaching the semifinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Rio de Janeiro and the quarterfinals of the ATP Masters 1000 event in Miami.
