Apple Unveils Vision Pro, 15-Inch MacBook Air, and Mac Studio at WWDC23
Apple's Annual Developer Conference Highlights Key Updates
Vision Pro Headset Debuts as Flagship AR/VR Device
CUPERTINO, Calif. - Apple today unveiled Vision Pro, its revolutionary spatial computing headset, at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which is being held virtually from June 5-9, 2023.
Alongside Vision Pro, Apple also showcased the 15-inch MacBook Air, its latest ultraportable laptop, and the Mac Studio, a powerful desktop computer designed for professional creators.
According to Apple, Vision Pro is its most ambitious new hardware venture to date. The headset combines virtual and augmented reality technologies to create immersive experiences for gaming, entertainment, and collaboration. The device features high-resolution displays, spatial audio, and advanced eye tracking capabilities.
The 15-inch MacBook Air is the largest iteration of Apple's popular ultraportable laptop. It features Apple's M2 chip, a larger Liquid Retina XDR display, and a faster SSD. The Mac Studio, on the other hand, is a compact desktop computer that delivers exceptional performance for video editing, music production, and other demanding tasks.
Apple also announced updates to its software services and operating systems, including iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14, and watchOS 10. These updates include new features such as improved performance, enhanced productivity tools, and expanded privacy settings.
