Fall season commenced last Wednesday, March 20th. Clocks will be set back or forward.
The commencement of Winter Time 2024 signifies that the clocks will be set back by 60 minutes. This adjustment will take place at midnight on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
In the case of Easter Island and Salas y Gomez Island, the clocks will be set back by 60 minutes at 11:59 PM on the same night, marking the transition to Winter Time.
This measure is based on Article 224 of the Official Gazette, which establishes that Winter Time will remain in effect until Saturday, September 7, 2024, when Summer Time will resume.
